TCL is expanding its smartphone lineup in the Philippines with the NXTPAPER 60 Ultra, NXTPAPER 70 Pro, and K70 4G. The new models give TCL a stronger presence in the local smartphone market while putting its NXTPAPER display technology front and center.
First introduced in 2021, NXTPAPER is TCL's approach to making extended smartphone use more comfortable. The latest NXTPAPER 4.0 technology combines display hardware and software features designed to reduce glare and blue-light exposure while maintaining clear images and colors.
TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra
The NXTPAPER 60 Ultra is the flagship of the new lineup, and its 7.2-inch FHD+ 120Hz NXTPAPER 4.0 display immediately sets it apart. The large screen gives users more room for documents, emails, multitasking, and video content.It's powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, with RAM expansion taking the configuration up to 24GB. Storage can also be expanded via microSD. A 5,200mAh battery, 33W charging, dual speakers, and Android 16 round out the package.

Our Take
TCL's entry into the Philippine smartphone market is worth watching, particularly because NXTPAPER gives the company something different to build around. The 60 Ultra and 70 Pro aren't just about having another high-refresh-rate display—they are designed around the idea of spending more time with a screen comfortably.The real question now is how NXTPAPER performs during actual day-to-day use. That's where TCL's display-focused approach will have to prove itself.
