To begin, the Aqua S10 Pro features a huge 6.67-inch screen with minimal bezels. We'll go into more detail about this later. At the back, it has a slightly protruding camera system, the fingerprint sensor with a metallic ring accent, and the Cherry branding. It has a very simple design with a premium appearance.

The volume rocker and power/lock buttons are located on the right side of the device, while the SIM slot is on the left side at supports two nano-SIM and one microSD card for extra storage.

Despite the fact that it is not a slim device measuring 9.9mm thick, it's nonetheless pleasant to handle in one hand, and the curved shape makes it easy to use, even with one hand thanks to its 76.95 mm narrow frame.

The Type-C USB connector, as well as the 3.5mm audio jack, primary microphone, and loudspeaker, are all positioned at the bottom. A second microphone is located at the top of the device.

The unibody construction of the Aqua S10 Pro gives it a more modern appearance; it's a good thing Cherry did away with the detachable back cover design on this smartphone. The back is a fingerprint magnet, but it's nice that it comes with a free case that addresses this little issue while also protecting the camera lens.

The large 6.67-inch Full HD+ TrueView IPS display on this device looks great with its thin bezels on top and sides and a slightly thicker at the bottom, making it looks larger. It features a 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution with a 20:9 aspect ratio.

The screen supports adaptive brightness, dark mode, and night light, as well as additional features that can be accessed via the display settings menu. Additionally, it includes a color setting that allows you to choose between Standard, Vivid, and Cool colors.

Watching movies on this huge screen is a joyful experience, and the cinematic aspect ratio is ideal for viewing your fave Netflix Korean VT series. Additionally, playing games in landscape mode provides excellent gameplay.

Powered by a MediaTek Helio G90 processor with a clock speed of up to 2.0GHz, the AQUA S10 Pro comes with Mali-G76 GPU for graphics, with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage that is expandable via a microSD card slot.

Out of the box, it runs on Android 11 OS, making it the brand's first device to do so; it does not come with a skin on top, so you get to experience the full Android system.

The AQUA S10 Pro got a score of 344,962 on the AnTuTu benchmark app, which is not bad since it beat out the Samsung Galaxy A52 and the Realme 8 Pro in the ranking of smartphones.

• AnTuTu 9.1.6 – 344,962
• PC Mark – 9,903 (Work 3.0)
• 3D Mark – 1,355 (Wild Life), 9.10 Average FPS
• Geekbench 5 – 498 (Single-Core), 1,456 (Multi-Core), 1,924 (OpenCL)
• AndroBench – 511.46 MB/s (Seq. Read), 333.1 MB/s (Seq. Write)

This smartphone is capable of running multiple apps simultaneously and maintaining a fluid user experience. Applications and games load quickly. However, we do miss the fluid animation experience that other brands' custom-designed operating systems provide.

The Helio G90 chipset is great for gaming, playing shooting games such as Call of Duty Mobile on medium settings runs smooth and gameplay is awesome. The same experience with Genshin Impact which is a heavy graphics-intensive game.

The AQUA S10 Pro sports a quad-camera system with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 5-megapixel wide, 2-megapixel depth, and 2-megapixel macro cameras. Upfront on there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The camera's user interface is dull. This is because the devices ship with stock version Android 11. There's no such thing as a personalized look or feel. So, even if you're only snapping pictures or videos, you'll have to go through the learning process.

When it comes to photography, pictures shot in natural light are quite good; the images have a lot of detail and have a certain clarity. On the other hand, photographs taken at night or in low light are of poor quality. Cherry Mobile should invest more in developing its own camera app to improve the quality of its images and videos.

Battery Performance
The AQUA S10 Pro includes a 5,000mAh battery with 30W charging and 10W wireless charging, which is excellent given that wireless charging is a feature that is typically reserved for mid-range and high-end smartphones today.

One full charge is sufficient for an entire day of moderate use, which includes gaming, social networking, surfing, watching YouTube, Netflix, and some further gaming. During our video loop test, it lasted for 10.5 hours total time.

Charging the battery took roughly 3.5 hours to reach 100% capacity, and the wireless charging support makes charging any smartphone incredibly convenient; simply place the phone on the charging pad and let it charge the battery; the drawback is that it takes longer to fully charge the battery.

Nice design
Large display
Comfortable to use
Good gaming performance
Wireless charging support
Good battery life
Decent camera performance

Boring IU
Camera app needs improvement

Final Thoughts
Cherry Aqua S10 Pro proves that Cherry Mobile is still one of the best Local brand in the country when it comes to budget smartphones with great features. The attractive design, pouch-hole selfie camera, newest Android OS, and wireless charging function all add up to a winning combination for a budget smartphone.

Cherry Aqua S10 Pro retails for only P7,999 and it's available in Cherry stores, kiosks, and CHERRY Concept Stores nationwide. You can also get it at CHERRY online stores
