LG XBOOM by will.i.am Launches in PH with Powerful Sound and Bold Design

Music meets innovation as LG Electronics teams up with global music icon will.i.am to launch the next-generation LG XBOOM lineup. Featuring AI-powered sound and a bold, modern aesthetic, the new series is built to deliver an immersive listening experience that’s as stylish as it is powerful.

The lineup made its debut during the high-energy “Pop Goes Boom!” event at Xylo at the Palace in Bonifacio Global City, where guests experienced firsthand its sleek design and next-level audio performance.

The event transformed into a vibrant dance floor, filled with performances from Zephanie and NEW:ID, plus a KPOP Dance Battle. Guests got an up-close experience with the new XBOOM AI speakers through interactive demos, showcasing the lineup’s bold look, advanced features, and room-filling sound.

The evening kicked off with LG Philippines’ Product Director for Media Solutions, Mr. Yongwoo Park, delivering a dynamic welcome. He described the new collection as the perfect fusion of technology and music culture, designed to make every beat resonate. “Tonight, the bass doesn’t just play, it pops… Let’s go big, let’s go loud, let’s go XBOOM!” Park declared, setting the tone for a night filled with immersive sound and spectacular performances.

Ms. Mildred Bugay, LG Philippines’ Product Manager for Audio, then unveiled the 2025 LG XBOOM lineup, highlighting its creative direction by global music icon will.i.am. “We are thrilled to introduce a lineup meticulously tuned by LG XBOOM’s Experiential Architect, will.i.am, to deliver richer, warmer tones and an unparalleled immersive listening experience.”

The New LG XBOOM AI Lineup

The 2025 LG XBOOM by will.i.am collection features four new models, each designed for different lifestyles:

• LG XBOOM Stage 301 – Powerful room-filling sound with a 6.5” woofer, dual 2.5” midrange drivers, and built-in mic controls for karaoke sessions.
• LG XBOOM Bounce – Compact yet bold, with dual passive radiators and twin dome tweeters for punchy beats.
• LG XBOOM Grab – Portable with a tube-shaped design, crisp 16mm tweeter, and easy-carry handle for music anywhere.
• LG XBOOM Buds – Premium earbuds with graphene-coated drivers, advanced noise cancellation, and crystal-clear call quality.

The lineup also supports Auracast, letting users connect multiple XBOOM AI speakers for a wider, more immersive soundstage. Alongside these, LG showcased the XBOOM XL Series, XBOOM Go, and XBOOM RN Series speakers, all delivering the same commitment to powerful, adaptive sound.

KPOP Dance Battles and Live Performances
Hosted by Candy Gamos, the night also featured a high-energy KPOP Dance Battle, judged by Mildred Bugay, AG Constantino, and Wilson from NEW:ID.

3rd Place: Psycho

Winners took home LG XBOOM products, while all performers wowed the crowd with their creativity and stage presence.

The energy hit new heights when NEW:ID delivered explosive performances of “Ghost,” “Killing It Girl,” and “Deja Vu,” while Zephanie stunned the audience with her powerful vocals on “Problem” and “Bang Bang,” perfectly amplified by XBOOM AI’s precision sound.
