At Tech World during CES 2026, held at the Sphere, Lenovo announced a new lineup of enterprise servers designed specifically for AI inferencing. These systems expand Lenovo’s Hybrid AI Advantage portfolio and focus on turning trained AI models into real-time tools for everyday business use.

AI inferencing shifts the focus from training large language models to using them on live, unseen data. This is where AI starts to deliver real value, supporting instant decisions in areas like retail transactions, manufacturing systems, financial services, and critical healthcare environments. According to Futurum, the global AI inference infrastructure market is expected to grow from $5.0 billion in 2024 to $48.8 billion by 2030, showing how fast enterprises are moving toward real-world AI deployment.

“Enterprises today need AI that can turn massive amounts of data into insight the moment it’s created,” said Ashley Gorakhpurwalla, Executive Vice President at Lenovo and President of Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group. “With Lenovo’s new inferencing-optimized infrastructure, we are giving customers that real-time advantage—transforming massive amount of data into instant, actionable intelligence that fuels stronger decisions, greater security, and faster innovation.”

New ThinkSystem and ThinkEdge Servers
Lenovo’s new AI inferencing hardware is built to support workloads of different sizes and locations. The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR675i targets large-scale environments and is designed to run full large language models with high scalability, making it suitable for manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services.

The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650i offers high-density GPU power in a form factor that fits easily into existing data centers, making deployment simpler for enterprises upgrading their AI capabilities.

For edge use, the Lenovo ThinkEdge SE455i brings AI inferencing closer to where data is created. Its compact and rugged design makes it ideal for retail, telecom, and industrial settings, with reliable operation in temperatures from -5°C to 55°C and ultra-low latency performance.

These servers are supported by Lenovo Neptune air and liquid cooling to address power and heat challenges, along with the Lenovo TruScale pay-as-you-go model that allows organizations to scale without heavy upfront investment.

Hybrid AI Platforms and Services
The new servers form the foundation of the Lenovo Hybrid AI Factory, a modular framework that combines infrastructure, software, and services into one system. Lenovo also introduced new AI inferencing platforms built with partners like Nutanix, Red Hat, and Canonical, giving enterprises flexible options based on their performance, security, and cost needs.

To support adoption, Lenovo expanded its Hybrid AI Factory Services, offering advisory, deployment, and managed services for AI inferencing. These services aim to deliver stable performance from day one, long-term scalability, and ongoing support through Lenovo Premier Support, with flexible financing via TruScale Infrastructure-as-a-Service.

AI at Work in the Real World
Lenovo’s enterprise technology also powers content creation at Sphere Studios. Hundreds of Lenovo ThinkSystem SR655 V3 servers, running on AMD EPYC processors and NVIDIA accelerated computing, are used to create immersive experiences inside the Sphere.

The setup serves as a real-world example of how Lenovo’s AI-ready infrastructure is already being used at scale, moving AI from theory to practical, everyday impact.
