ASUS has officially launched the Zenbook DUO (2026) in the Philippines, continuing its push into dual-screen laptops with a more refined and practical approach. The idea of having two displays in one device isn’t new for ASUS, but this version feels more focused on usability.
Instead of simply adding another screen, the improvements are designed to make multitasking smoother and less distracting in everyday use.
The ZenBook Duo (UX8407AA) retains its dual 14-inch layout, but now features a significantly reduced gap between the two displays. ASUS says it’s 70% smaller than before, which helps create a more seamless workspace when moving between screens.
Both panels use ASUS Lumina Pro OLED with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1,000 nits brightness. It’s the kind of upgrade you’ll notice more in daily use—smoother scrolling, cleaner visuals, and better overall comfort when working across multiple windows.
The five-mode design is still here, letting the device shift depending on your setup. Whether you’re using it as a standard laptop or spreading apps across both screens, the flexibility remains one of its main strengths.
Built for Multitasking and AI Workflows
Powering the Zenbook DUO (2026) is an Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 3 processor with a 50 TOPS NPU, positioning it as a Copilot+ PC for Windows 11.
It comes with 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 1TB PCIe 4 SSD, which makes it well-suited for heavy multitasking, content work, and AI-assisted tasks. The hardware setup clearly targets users who keep multiple apps open and rely on a more dynamic workspace.
Slimmer Build with a Durable Finish
Even with two displays, the Zenbook DUO stays relatively compact at 1.96 cm thin. It’s also slightly smaller than its predecessor, making it easier to carry around.

The full-Ceraluminum chassis in Moher Gray is designed to be lighter and more durable than standard metal builds, giving it a more premium and long-lasting feel without adding bulk.
Battery Life
Battery life is often a concern for dual-screen laptops, but ASUS is pushing for better efficiency here.
The Zenbook DUO can last up to 32 hours on a single screen and up to 18 hours with both displays active. That kind of range makes it more practical for long work sessions, especially when you're away from a power source.

Connectivity and Everyday Use
Despite its slim profile, the Zenbook DUO includes essential ports like Thunderbolt 4, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, and a headphone jack. It’s a balanced setup that should cover most work scenarios without needing extra adapters.
