ZTE Corporation was at MWC Barcelona 2026 under the theme "Creating an Intelligent Future". Guided by its strategy "All in AI, AI for All", the company is showcasing the latest progress of its “Connectivity + Computing” strategy while working with global partners to help build a more open, secure, and inclusive digital ecosystem.
At the event, ZTE is presenting a wide range of technologies including AI-native connectivity, intelligent computing infrastructure, smart home technologies, and personal smart devices. These solutions demonstrate how artificial intelligence can improve network performance, simplify operations, and create new digital services.
AI Integration Across Four Key Areas
At this year’s exhibition, ZTE highlights the integration of AI and ICT across four core areas: AI-Powered Network Connectivity, AI Computing, AI Home, and Smart Personal Devices. The company presents a full digital intelligence framework that covers everything from network infrastructure and architecture design to real-world applications and commercial deployment.
AI-Native Networks and Advanced Connectivity
ZTE is advancing AI-native network architecture to help operators build more efficient and intelligent infrastructure. For mobile networks, the company is pushing toward L4 autonomous networks, which can manage and optimize themselves using AI.

In optical networks, ZTE is working with operators on a three-stage evolution: fiberization, all-optical networks, and AI optical networks. This roadmap improves network speed, user experience, and service monetization while helping operators boost ARPU.
The company also introduced its HI-NET solution, powered by technologies such as C+L full-band integrated 1.6Tbps transmission and built-in AI computing power, creating a high-performance network foundation for intelligent connectivity.
For campus networks, ZTE launched the industry-first 5-in-1 50G PON integrated service gateway and enterprise-grade FTTR gateways that combine optical connectivity, video security, computing, and storage in one system. These solutions allow operators to deliver intelligent enterprise networks rather than simply providing fiber connections.
To simplify network management, ZTE also offers the AIR Net autonomous network solution, certified by TMF. Built on an open layered architecture, the platform uses intelligent agents to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency. ZTE has already deployed high-level autonomous networks with several operators.
AI Cloud and Intelligent Data Centers
The company introduced its Elastic AIDC solution, designed to meet the growing demand for flexible and efficient data centers. Thanks to its modular design, deployment time can be reduced by up to 40 percent compared with traditional data center construction.

Energy efficiency is improved through technologies such as cold-plate cooling, immersion cooling, and 800V HVDC power systems, increasing overall efficiency by 25 percent. ZTE also uses high-voltage lithium-ion batteries to improve both safety and power performance.
With its strengths in computing-network co-design and software-hardware integration, ZTE aims to deliver AI computing infrastructure that supports a wide range of industries.
Enterprise AI and Industry Applications
ZTE is also focusing on enterprise digital transformation through its AI agent platform called Co-Claw. This platform integrates AI across office work, research and development, and business operations to help companies improve efficiency.
