As part of the Pokémon 30th Anniversary celebrations, The Pokémon Company has officially announced that the Philippines will host its first-ever official Pokémon Center POP-UP STORE, bringing the iconic retail experience to local fans for the very first time.
The limited-time store will open at SM Mall of Asia from October 2026 to January 2027, offering exclusive Pokémon merchandise and interactive activities rarely seen outside established Pokémon Center locations.
While Pokémon merchandise has long been available through select retailers, official Pokémon Center stores have remained exclusive to countries like Japan, Singapore, and Taiwan. For many collectors, buying exclusive items usually meant traveling abroad or relying on online resellers.
The upcoming Pokémon Center POP-UP STORE will bring an official shopping experience to the Philippines for the first time, offering products typically available only at Pokémon Center locations.

The Pokémon Center POP-UP STORE serves as one of the highlights of the "Celebrate 30 Years of Pokémon at SM Malls" campaign, a six-month celebration running from October 2026 through March 2027.

The nationwide mall caravan will visit several SM Supermalls, including SM Mall of Asia, SM North EDSA, SM Southmall, SM East Ortigas, SM Marikina, SM Seaside Cebu, SM Davao, and SM CDO Downtown.
Visitors can expect Pokémon-themed attractions, licensed merchandise, Pokémon Trading Card Game tutorials, Nintendo Switch 2 game demos, Pokémon Mezastar, Meet and Greet sessions, themed displays, and exclusive promotional giveaways throughout the campaign.
Meanwhile, fans can also look forward to Pokémon RUN 30, an interactive fun run happening on October 3–4, 2026, and PokéXciting! in Manila, a free large-scale Pokémon celebration scheduled for January 23–24, 2027, both at SM Mall of Asia.
