Google Pixel 11 Series Officially Launches

Google has officially unveiled the Pixel 11 Series, introducing the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The new generation focuses on a refined design, upgraded cameras, faster charging, stronger durability, and a deeper integration of Gemini.

Google Pixel 11 Series Officially Launches
At the center of the lineup is the new Google Tensor G6, which Google says is its fastest and most powerful Pixel processor yet. Google has also expanded the Pixel’s AI capabilities with new features such as Magic Capture, Camera Looks, Creator Suite, Live Translate, and more proactive Gemini Intelligence.

Google Tensor G6 Takes Center Stage

At the heart of the Pixel 11 lineup is the new Google Tensor G6, which Google calls its fastest and most powerful Pixel chip yet. Compared with Tensor G5, it delivers up to 25% faster web browsing and 15% quicker app launches, while its TPU offers 50% more computing power.
Paired with the latest Gemini Nano model, Tensor G6 can process on-device AI tasks up to 3.5x faster while using up to 3.5x less energy. It also works with the new Titan M3 security chip, bringing post-quantum cryptography to secure boot.
Rather than simply focusing on raw performance, Google designed Tensor G6 to power the Pixel 11’s AI features, camera processing, security, and overall user experience.

A Refined Pixel Design

Google isn’t making a dramatic change to the Pixel’s familiar design, but the Pixel 11 series receives several physical refinements.
The standard Pixel 11 gets a camera bar that is 40% thinner than earlier base Pixel generations. Google says the slimmer design makes the phone easier to carry and virtually wobble-free when placed on a flat surface with a Made by Google case.
The Pixel 11 comes in Pistachio, Hibiscus, Frost, and Obsidian, while the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL are available in Canyon, Fog, Olive, and matte Obsidian.
The Pro models feature Google’s brightest-ever Super Actual displays, reaching up to 3,600 nits, along with a new anti-scratch coating that Google says provides more than twice the scratch resistance of the previous generation.
All three traditional Pixel 11 models start with 256GB of storage and support Google’s Pixelsnap accessory system. The Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro also support 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging.

Google Pixel 11

The standard Pixel 11 is designed as the more accessible entry point into Google’s new flagship generation. It features an Actua display and the new Tensor G6 processor, while its camera system gets a significant upgrade over the previous generation.
The main camera now uses a larger 48MP sensor with 56% more light sensitivity, which should help with photos and videos in low-light situations. The 5x telephoto camera also gains support for 30x Super Zoom through Tensor G6-powered computational photography.
The Pixel 11 also gets access to Google’s new camera and AI tools, including Magic Capture, Camera Looks, Creator Suite, Circle to Search through the camera, and Live Translate.

New AI and Camera Features

Hardware is only part of the Pixel 11 story. Google is putting a major emphasis on software and Gemini Intelligence. Magic Capture uses on-device intelligence and Gemini models to analyze around 400 frames during a typical capture session, selecting a well-timed 12MP photo and automatically applying edits such as crop and unblur. It can also save a video without requiring users to switch modes.
Camera Looks allows users to customize the look of their photos at the point of capture. Options include Natural, Shadows, Vanilla, Digi, Black Tie, Minimal, Editorial, Classic, and Velvet, with further customization available.
For creators, Creator Suite adds a built-in teleprompter, social media gridlines, project folders, and Storyboard editing tools. Users can even set video as the default camera mode.
Google is also bringing Live Translate to videos and audio, using on-device generative AI models powered by Tensor G6 to translate media in real time.

Seven Years of Updates

Google continues its long-term software support commitment with the Pixel 11 generation. All the new phones receive seven years of OS updates, security updates, and Pixel Drops from launch.
The Pro models also include six months of Google AI Pro for eligible users, providing higher Gemini usage limits, 5TB of cloud storage, and Google Health Premium. Availability and eligibility vary by market.
