Samsung is giving its Samsung Galaxy S26 FE a bigger role in the new Galaxy S26 family. The phone is the first model in the series to launch with One UI 9, bringing Samsung’s latest Galaxy AI features and camera tools from day one.
The Galaxy S26 FE focuses on everyday features, with an enhanced triple camera, 3x optical zoom, My FanCam, a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, and a 4,900mAh battery. It also adds more context-aware AI tools designed to help with photos, videos, notifications, and daily tasks. Samsung has kept the phone thin and light, giving the FE model the core Galaxy S experience while adding several upgrades of its own.
Enhanced Camera System
Samsung has upgraded the Galaxy S26 FE’s camera experience with an enhanced triple rear camera and improved image processing. The setup is designed to handle both still photos and fast-moving subjects with more consistency.
The phone supports 3x optical zoom, giving you a dedicated zoom range for distant subjects without relying on digital cropping. The front camera also gets an upgrade to 12MP, with a wider view that makes group selfies easier to frame. Nightography remains part of the Galaxy S experience. It helps capture brighter low-light photos while preserving detail in darker scenes.
My FanCam Keeps Your Subject Centered
My FanCam, first introduced on Samsung’s latest Galaxy foldables, is now available on the Galaxy S26 FE. The feature tracks a selected person and keeps them centered as they move. It automatically reframes the video as the scene changes, reducing the need to manually move the camera.
This is useful for concerts, sports, events, and other situations where your subject keeps moving across the frame. It also supports Super Steady with Horizontal Lock. The feature helps keep video smoother and more level when recording fast-moving activities, travel footage, and everyday scenes.
Photo Assist and Gemini Omni
Samsung has also expanded the phone’s AI-powered editing tools. Photo Assist lets you edit images using natural language prompts. You can make changes such as turning day into night, adding elements, or restoring missing parts of an image.
The editing process also lets you review changes step by step. You can revise or undo edits instead of committing to the final result immediately. Gemini Omni works with photos and video clips from your Gallery. It helps create and edit videos from existing content, giving you a quicker way to turn several clips and photos into a finished video.
One UI 9 and Galaxy AI
The Galaxy S26 FE is the first model in the Galaxy S26 family to launch with One UI 9. Samsung has updated Now Brief with customizable briefing cards covering information such as weather and wellness insights. You can also create your own cards with a simple prompt, giving you more control over the information shown throughout the day.
Now Nudge has also expanded to select third-party apps and notifications. It surfaces relevant suggestions based on what is happening on your device and helps you act on them. Circle to Search with Google also gets an update. You can search for multiple items within a single image, making it easier to identify products, objects, places, and other items without running separate searches.
120Hz AMOLED Display
The Galaxy S26 FE features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The large screen gives you more room for streaming, gaming, browsing, photo editing, and other daily tasks. The 120Hz refresh rate also keeps scrolling and supported animations smooth. Samsung designed the display around the same everyday use cases that make the Galaxy S series popular, from watching videos to working on the go.
Battery With 45W Charging
The Galaxy S26 FE packs a 4,900mAh battery with 45W charging support. Samsung says it reaches up to 69% charge in around 30 minutes with a 45W adapter, giving you a quick way to add more power when you are short on time.
Easier Setup With Smart Switch
Samsung has improved Smart Switch to make moving to the Galaxy S26 FE easier. You can scan a QR code to transfer data wirelessly from an Android or iOS device. Supported information includes passwords and passkeys, call history, accessibility settings, and eSIM data. The process does not require an additional app, reducing the number of steps involved when switching from another phone.
Long-Term Software Support
Samsung is giving the Galaxy S26 FE up to seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. That extended support gives the phone a longer software life and keeps it eligible for future Android and security releases.
Samsung Care+ is also available for additional protection. One UI 9 includes a new Warranty and Care settings hub where users can enroll in, access, and manage Samsung Care+ and other device care services. It also comes with a six-month free trial of Google AI Pro. The trial includes expanded AI capabilities and 5TB of cloud storage.
Price in the Philippines
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE comes in Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio. It is priced at ₱46,990 for 128GB, ₱53,990 for 256GB, and ₱67,990 for 512GB. It will be available through Samsung.com starting September 11, 2026.
Samsung is also offering introductory discounts until November 30, 2026. The 512GB model gets ₱7,000 off, while the 256GB version gets ₱5,000 off. The announcement also lists a separate ₱4,000 discount for the 256GB model, so the exact offer is worth checking at the time of purchase.
