Acer has announced the Predator Atlas 7, a new addition to its Predator gaming handheld lineup. It takes the experience of the company's larger handheld and puts it into a more compact 7-inch form, giving gamers another option for portable PC gaming.

The Atlas 7 runs Windows 11 Home and is available with up to an Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor, Intel Arc B390 graphics, 24GB LPDDR5X memory at 7467MT/s, and 1TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe M.2 SSD. It also comes with an Xbox Game Pass subscription, giving users access to hundreds of games.

Its 7-inch FHD IPS-level touchscreen has a 1920 × 1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 500 nits brightness, 100% sRGB coverage, and VRR. The screen supports 10-point multitouch and uses Gorilla Glass Victus with DXC surface treatment for scratch resistance and reduced glare.
Acer uses a dual-fan cooling system with a Predator AeroBlade metal fan, plastic fan, and Vortex Flow. The AeroBlade fan has 89 blades measuring 0.1mm thick, with Acer claiming up to 10% more airflow. Battery options go up to 80Wh, with the 80Wh model weighing under 750g. A 60Wh version weighs under 700g. Both support 65W charging through USB-C or AC.
For gaming, the Atlas 7 has full-size analog joysticks, Hall-effect analog triggers, D-Pad, A/B/X/Y buttons, and L/R macro buttons. A TMR joystick option is available for improved precision and anti-drift performance. The power button also includes a fingerprint sensor for Windows Hello.
Connectivity includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a UHS-II microSD card reader, 3.5mm audio jack, Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. Audio comes from dual 2W speakers with DTS Virtual:X Ultra and Hi-Res Audio, while Acer PurifiedVoice provides AI-assisted noise reduction through the dual microphones. PredatorSense provides system monitoring, performance modes, RGB lighting customization, and gaming controls.
