Pokémon fans in the Philippines can now get hands-on with Pokémon Pokopia on Nintendo Switch 2. The Pokémon Company is bringing its custom-built Pokémon Truck to Metro Manila, letting fans play the game, take photos, meet Pikachu, and join Pokémon-themed activities.
The Pokémon Truck officially started its Philippine tour on October 2, 2026, and will continue traveling across Metro Manila and nearby areas until January 24, 2027. The Philippine tour follows the truck's stops in Malaysia and Singapore, where it welcomed more than 250,000 visitors combined.
The campaign, “Play ‘Pokémon Pokopia’ Game with Pokémon Truck at Your Town!”, is designed to bring the Pokémon Pokopia experience closer to fans through hands-on gameplay and activities at participating malls.
Play Pokémon Pokopia on Nintendo Switch 2
The 17-foot Pokémon Truck features six Nintendo Switch 2 gaming stations where visitors can try different games. Four stations inside the truck are dedicated to Pokémon Pokopia, allowing players to experience the game and create their own world with Pokémon.
The other two stations will feature a selection of Nintendo games at designated stops. Each station includes a Nintendo Switch 2 system, a Pokémon Pokopia-themed board and easy-to-follow instructions. Staff will also be available to assist visitors and explain how to play.
The truck features dynamic LED displays and sofa seating, providing a dedicated space where fans can sit down and spend time with the games. For visitors who may be playing Pokémon Pokopia for the first time, the on-site staff can provide guidance throughout the experience.
More Than Just Gaming
The Pokémon Truck experience also includes activities outside the gaming stations. Fans can take photos at the Pokémon Pokopia photo zone and decorative wall, giving visitors a chance to capture photos inspired by the game.
The outdoor area includes activities for children and families, including a coloring corner. Selected stops will also feature opportunities for visitors to meet Pikachu in person. Fans can also take home a special Pokémon Pokopia sun visor featuring Pokémon designs. The commemorative visors will be distributed at the event while supplies last.
Selected Saturday and Sunday sessions may also include Pikachu mascot appearances at designated times. These appearances will depend on the event arrangements at each location.
Pokémon Truck Tour Runs Until January 2027
The Pokémon Truck will travel through Parañaque, Las Piñas, Bacoor, Muntinlupa, Imus, Dasmariñas and General Trias during its Philippine tour. From October 2, 2026, to January 24, 2027, fans can encounter the truck through its city routes and scheduled mall stops.
