Vivo Y20s [G] Unboxing and First Impressions!

Vivo's latest budget gaming smartphone, the Vivo Y20s [G] is the latest addition to the Y-series that features the Helio G80 Gaming Mobile Platform and a massive 5000mAh battery with fast charge support.

The Vivo Y20s [G] has similar specs to the Indian variant of the Y20G but has a higher ram of 6GB RAM instead of 4GB and a better selfie camera at the notch. We got a chance to test this new Vivo smartphone and here's what it has to offer.

Unboxing
The box comes in white and blue two-tone color, with the Vivo branding and the model number, at the back are the usual tech specs.

The box contains the Vivo Y20s [G] device, protective case, micro USB cable, charger, SIM pin, and paper materials.

The Y20s [G] comes in two colors, black and blue, the purist blue looks nice, the color reacts to light and a strong and pure blue color perfectly balances dark and light.

It has a triple camera at the back with a 13-megapixel, f/2.2 wide lens, a 2-megapixel, f/2.4 macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth sensor.

There's a 6.51" screen at the front with minimal bezels and an 8-megapixel selfie camera placed on the notch, it has an 81.6% screen-to-body ratio with a 20:9 aspect ratio.

The power button that doubles as a fingerprint reader is on the right side together with the volume rocker. While the SIM slot with a triple tray that supports two nano-SIM and one microSD card is on the left side.

At the bottom are the standard connectivity ports such as the micro-USB port and 3.5mm audio jack, there is also a speaker and a microphone.

The Y20s [G] is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 mobile platform with a Mali-G52 GPU and comes with 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It also packs a 5,000mAh with 18W fast charging support and runs on the latest FunTouch OS 11 based on Android 11.

First Impressions
Just like any Vivo device the Vivo Y20s [G] is a well-designed smartphone with really nice color, and a smooth premium look. The 6.51-inch HD+ IPS display looks sharp, and with MediaTek Helio G80 this device can surely perform well for everyday tasks as well as running games smoothly, and it got a huge battery for long hours of use, overall this smartphone looks promising.
