Smart Launches a Customer Experience Campaign in Cebu

Smart Communications, Inc. recently launched its newest campaign, "Smart5G Power Up Cebu," which offers retailers and subscribers in Cebu City faster, superior, and more robust services and programs.

Cebu province and Cebu City in particular continue to be among the most important places in the Visayas for PLDT and Smart, where they provide mobile and fiber services to millions of individuals, households, and businesses.

"We know that Cebu has been through hard times because of the pandemic and the onslaught of super typhoon Odette. We at Smart would like to provide a meaningful customer experience by widening our network coverage in the province and creating even better programs and activities for our Cebuano retailers and subscribers. These efforts will help us recover together and get stronger this 2022," says Alex O. Caeg, SVP and Head of Consumer Sales Group at PLDT and Smart.

This campaign ensures that more retailers, schools, and communities have access to Smart's services, thereby establishing Smart as a dependable partner for Cebuanos in education, business, and entertainment, among other areas. Among the most recent Power Up deals is Smart Prepaid's new FREE TikTok For All promotion, which grants users free access to TikTok upon registration for various prepaid promos.

Smart's KaPartner stores, regional and provincial distributors, and internal business divisions led by Caeg and Hoyle Disuanco, Group Head/Vice President of Smart Regional Customer Development-VisMin, attended the hybrid event.

As of the end of March 2022, Smart's total number of base stations in the Philippines has expanded to 76,600, servicing its 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G customers from Batanes to Tawi-Tawi. This comprises around 7,300 5G base stations. End of March 2022, PLDT's fiber infrastructure comprised 803,000 kilometers and supported Smart's mobile network.
