Acer Launches Nitro and Swift Laptops Powered by AMD Ryzen 7000 Series Processors


Acer introduced the Swift Go 14 and Nitro 16 and Nitro 17 gaming laptops. The latest Acer Nitro laptops are powered by AMD Ryzen 7000 Series, with liquid metal thermal grease on the CPU to provide an immersive gaming experience.

The new AMD Ryzen mobile processors offer power-optimized performance as well as several user experience improvements. Gamers and mobile workers get increased performance and power efficiency with its new "Zen 4" core architecture. AMD Ryzen+AI technology provides stunning video effects like eye gaze correction on select models.


Acer Nitro 16
The Nitro 16 (AN16-41) gaming notebook has a WUXGA or WQXGA display with a 165 Hz refresh rate and 5% more screen space than its predecessor. It supports NVIDIA Advanced Optimus and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series Laptop GPUs. With 100% sRGB color gamut compatibility, an 84% screen-to-body ratio, a big 125.0 mm x 76.7 mm touchpad, and a 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard, users may enjoy an immersive viewing experience.


Acer Nitro 17
The slim but robust Nitro 17 (AN17-41) is powered by AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs. The 17.3 display comes in Full HD with 144 Hz or 165 Hz refresh rates or QHD with 165 Hz and an 81% screen-to-body ratio for excellent visuals. It's RGB 4-zone backlit keyboard and big touchpad (125.0 mm x 81.6 mm) make it appealing to all types of gamers.

Gamers and multimedia creators can multitask with up to 32 GB of DDR5 5600 MHz RAM and 2 TB of M.2 PCIe Gen 4 storage on the two Acer Nitro devices. Dual fans, four fan outlets on the sides and rear, upper air intake, and liquid metal thermal grease help cool the computers. NitroSense software and a NitroSense key allow users to monitor system temperatures and modify device performance parameters.

With the laptops' HD camera, two microphones, and two speakers with DTS:X Ultra for rich audio, players can immerse themselves in-game and while streaming. An HDMI 2.1 port, a microSD card reader, USB 2.0, USB 4, a Type C USB3.2 Gen 2 display port supporting Power Delivery, and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one of which supports offline charging, are also available on AMD-powered gaming notebooks. Each model has Wi-Fi 6E and LAN E2600G for faster wired and wireless connections. Both laptops feature one month of Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass, giving access to hundreds of high-quality PC games.


Acer Swift Go 14
The Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-42) has a stylish, lightweight design that matches the Swift line's appeal. With its 90% screen-to-body ratio and ultra-slim side bezels, the 14.9 mm aluminum chassis weighs less than 1.3 kg and measures 4.15 mm. Its AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors and stunning 16:10 OLED display with a 90 Hz frame rate enable mobile productivity.

500-nit peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color spectrum, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification support the Swift Go 14's stunning screens. It has a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with 2880x1800 resolution, TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe display certification, backlit keyboards, and a glass-like OceanGlass touchpad.

Its performance and 9.5-hour battery life make it a good choice for mobile users. Acer's TwinAir twin-fan cooling system, dual D6 copper heat pipes, and air-inlet keyboard cool the powerful technology to keep users productive.

The Swift Go 14 has USB Type-C, HDMI 2.1, and a MicroSD card reader despite its ultra-thin form. It supports up to 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD and 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM for all storage needs. Acer PurifiedView and PurifiedVoice technology with AI noise reduction, the 1440p webcam with Temporal Noise Reduction (TNR), and reliable Wi-Fi 6E keep the laptop connected for improved streaming and video calls.
