WIKO is officially licensed to release Huawei developed smartphones. The new flagship WIKO 5G smartphone features a 108-megapixel AI camera with Samsung HM2 sensor and runs on Harmony OS.

WIKO, a French technology brand, made its debut on Weibo and simultaneously established its official China website. WIKO released its 5G-capable, Harmony OS-powered flagship phone in China last December 27, 2022, according to the news.

The new WIKO 5G features a 6.78-inch 120Hz display, a rear-mounted 108-megapixel primary camera + 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle + 2-megapixel macro + 2-megapixel depth-of-field lens, and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

It's powered by a 2.0GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, paired with Adreno 619 GPU with 8GB of RAM, 128GB/256GB of internal storage, and runs on the HarmonyOS out of the box. Additionally, it packs a 4000mAh battery.

Since reports indicate that WIKO has been granted an official license to distribute smartphones develop by Huawei technology. The new WIKO device appeared to have the identical design to the HUAWEI Nova 9 SE with the French brand name added.

WIKO is a local mobile phone brand in France. Later, the mobile phone business of this brand was jointly acquired by Tianyin Holdings and Dongguan Financial Holdings. In addition, WIKO took second place in the French mobile phone market in 2014, second only to Samsung in terms of local market share.

It's possible that the WIKO 5G will make its way to the Philippines this year. The Nova 9 SE retail for ₱13,999, which should give you a good idea of what to expect from the WIKO 5G's price.
