ASUS Philippines launches the ASUS ExpertBook B6 Flip (B6602F), the world's first flippable mobile workstation designed to meet the requirements of the AEC industry.

ASUS ExpertBook B6 Flip

This new ExpertBook is optimized for 3D and CAD applications and industry-leading software like 3ds Max, MicroStation, and Vectorworks in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industries. BIM applications like ArchiCAD, Creo, and Solidworks enable users to bring design concepts to life.

The ASUS ExpertBook B6 Flip has up to 12th Gen Intel Core i9 HX processors, NVIDIA RTX A2000 professional graphics, 128 GB of dual-channel DDR5-4800MHz memory, and 4 TB of ultrafast M.2 storage. This gives 3D designers and CAD users a very high level of performance.

The ExpertBook B6 Flip's cooling technology minimizes noise, especially while performing heavy AEC workloads, to maintain performance. ASUS tuned the cooling system to comfortably run the Intel CPU at 135 watts total TDP (55 W CPU and 80 W GPU). This new ExpertBook also boasts NVIDIA Max-P Dynamic Boost’s support for users to enjoy limitless and powerful performance.

The ASUS ExpertBook B6 Flip has dual 98-blade fans for engineers. Three heat pipes and seven intelligent sensors provide optimal cooling while keeping the laptop quiet at under 40 dBA in Standard mode. The new ExpertBook's flippable 16-inch display lets customers work anywhere and in any laptop mode. The revised design fits the nation's growing hybrid workforce.

To meet all demands, AES experts require high connectivity. For data transfers and peripheral connections, the ExpertBook B6 Flip has a comprehensive set of ports. Its built-in smart card reader and microSD slot allow 3D makers to shoot, edit, and process large photos and films anywhere. It also has two Thunderbolt 4 connectors with DisplayPort 1.4, two USB 3.2 Type-A connections, and a professional-grade 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port.

ExpertBook B6 Flip's professional-grade NVIDIA RTX A2000 graphics and NVIDIA Ampere architecture help users create short online films, full-length features, animations, 3D models, and graphic design. Ampere has sparse ray-tracing and Tensor cores, DLSS 2.0 AI super-resolution technology, and streaming multiprocessors for substantial performance improvements. This GPU has the most realistic ray-traced graphics, cutting-edge features, and AI power.

The ASUS ExpertBook B6 Flip has been extensively tested and certified by independent software vendors (ISVs) to ensure it meets the needs of the world's top 3D and CAD developers. The ExpertBook Flip B6 comes with an optional ASUS stylus that works with MPP 2.0 and has up to 4096 levels of pressure for writing, drawing, and making notes in apps that support it.

The AEC business handles a lot of highly confidential data and transfers a lot of information internally and externally, making it prone to security breaches. Intel vPro Essentials or Enterprise platforms and Windows 11 Pro power the ASUS ExpertBook B6 Flip (B6602F) to secure this data. Users can work faster and safer with this powerful combination.

The ExpertBook B6 Flip's multi-layered security makes it perfect for banking and government agencies. This features support for self-encrypting TCG Opal SSD drives to prevent hackers from accessing data and a discrete TPM 2.0 chip to securely store authentication information like passwords or encryption keys.

It also contains an intelligent card reader for fast two-factor authentication that requires a password and a recognized card for login, and an infrared camera for easy facial login that supports Windows Hello.
