Jollibee Launches "Tap-Sarap with Visa" Promotion with Maya

Good news! Jollibee now accepts Visa for cashless payments available in over 1,000 branches of the fast food chain’s stores nationwide. This is the first time that Jollibee stores in the Philippines accept credit cards as a form of payment.

Visa and Jollibee are celebrating their partnership with the "Tap-Sarap with Visa" promotion, sponsored by Maya Business. From February 15 to March 1, 2023, customers who spend at least ₱500 on meals with a Visa prepaid, debit, or credit card at any participating Jollibee store in the Philippines will receive a complimentary Cheesy Yumburger, Jolly Spaghetti, Tuna Pie, or Peach Mango Pie. The promotion is valid for dine-in, takeout, and drive-through orders.

The partnership reflects Filipinos' rising preference for cashless transactions. Visa's most recent Consumer Payment Attitudes Research, conducted with 1,000 Filipino respondents in August and September 2021, revealed that 84% have already tried cashless payment options, and 60% carry less cash in their wallets. 

This study also found that of the various cashless payment options, card payments (both online and at physical merchants) continue to be one of the more preferred options.
