Design and Comfort
The Enco Air3 earbuds are lightweight, weighing only 3.7g per earbud, and have an outer-ear fit. It has no silicone ear tip, which is not optimal given that not everyone has the same ear canal size, but surprisingly, it fitted well and was comfortable to wear.

The dewdrop stem of the Enco Air 3 earbuds has an unusual translucent finish that matches the transparent lid of the charging case. It's available in two colors; Misty Purple and Glaze White.

The touch-sensitive, app-configurable controls are located at the top of the stems. The IP54 rating for dust and water resistance means the earbuds can be used at the gym or while exercising outside, such as jogging or cycling.

The charging case is distinctive, unlike the majority of regular TWS, which are typically egg-shaped and have clamshell openings. The Enco Air3's translucent lid serves as a "display" for the earbuds, which are held in place magnetically. Even with the lid closed, you can see the Oppo logo and an LED light under the lid thanks to the clever design.

While its Type-C charging connector is conveniently positioned at the bottom, it sadly lacks compatibility for wireless charging.

Features
When compared to standard earbuds' 12 mm diaphragms, the Enco Air3's 13.4 mm diaphragm flows twice as much air. This means it can deliver deeper bass and clearer vocals. OPPO's driver design ensures high-quality sound production, and the earbuds can deliver a better and more immersive listening experience.

The Enco Air 3 has Oppo Alive Audio for spatial sound but only works with approved audio apps and formats. It also has a game mode for low-latency audio, a switch for two connections at once, and detailed touch control customization.

Cadence Tensilica HiFi 5 DSP is built in as well, providing processing power. It is 25 times more powerful than the DSP in the Enco Air2. The Enco Air3 is 35% more efficient in terms of energy consumption, has a battery life that is 50% longer and produces more accurate sound.

It uses Bluetooth 5.3 low-latency transmission, which has low latency and better anti-interference, to sync audio and video on smartphones from different brands and with different configurations. Although it lacks active noise cancellation (ANC), it makes up for it with DNN Noise Cancellation for Calls.

Sound Quality
For the audio test, I used the OPPO Reno8 as the source device for the Enco Air 3. Pairing is quick and easy, upon opening the case cover, it was instantly detected on the smartphone and paired thanks to Google Fast Pair.

The sound quality of most earbuds with this form factor varies depending on how you wear them; even the slightest angle shift can affect the sound. I noticed a slight shift in bass intensity when I tilted the earbuds inward.

Since the eartips are one size only, they will not snugly fit everyone. But even with the loose fit, the sound quality of the Enco Air 3 is respectable. The bass was punchy, and the beats and tempo of the song sounded sufficient.

The Enco Air 3's high sensitivity rating is readily apparent in the earbuds' impressive volume. Most users prefer earbuds that rest on the outer ear, which lets in some ambient noise, but even a modest volume level is enough to block out the outside noise.

The Enco Air 3 can provide the comfort of an over-the-ear design, the freedom to stay aware of your surroundings, and high-quality sound with deep bass. The big drivers are tuned well, and listening at the right volume is a pleasant experience.

Both indoors and outdoors, call quality was generally good, and environmental noise reduction worked well enough to put speech first in most settings. While the game mode does help reduce lag time while playing games, the sound quality suffered slightly.

Battery
Each earbud packs a 27mAh battery, and at 50 to 60% volume, I was able to use them for more than five hours with AAC enabled. When AAC is disabled, however, battery life is increased. While the case has a 300mAh battery with up to 25 hours of battery life, I was able to charge the earbuds three times more.

Charging the earbuds takes about one hour, and there is also fast charging, which promises up to two hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging. While the case takes about 2 hours to fully charge. The battery capacity is easily monitored using the companion app.

Pros
Nicely designed charging case
Lightweight earbuds
Bluetooth 5.3 with Google Fast Pair
Dual Pairing
Personalized touch controls
Good audio quality with a few sound effect options
IP54 ratings
Good battery life, fast charging

Cons
No ANC
Half-in-ear design
One-size earbuds do not fit everyone
Charging Case is prone to scratches

Verdict
All things considered, the Oppo Enco Air3 is a decent pair of truly wireless earbuds with sound quality that is loud, crisp, and about as good as you can expect from a pair of earbuds at this price point. It's easy to use, fits snugly, has an interesting case design, and lasts a long time between charges.

The new OPPO Enco Air3 is priced at ₱3,999 and is available at all OPPO Brand stores, partner dealers, and official online stores on Lazada, Shopee, and Tiktok Shop.
