Power interruptions can quickly disrupt work and everyday routines. A laptop running out of battery during a meeting, a Wi-Fi router going offline, or a refrigerator losing power for several hours can turn a short outage into a real inconvenience.
With the rainy season bringing the possibility of more power interruptions, Jackery is expanding its Explorer Series in the Philippines with three new portable power stations: the Explorer 300D, Explorer 500 V2, and Explorer 2000 V2.
The three models cover different needs, from keeping phones and laptops charged while working outdoors to providing backup power for larger household appliances.
Portable power in a smaller package
The Explorer 300D is the most compact model in the new lineup. It weighs just 2.5 kg and has a 288Wh capacity with 300W total DC output. Jackery says it is 64% smaller than standard 300Wh power stations, making it easier to carry in a backpack or keep in a small workspace.
It’s designed primarily around DC-powered devices, so there is no AC inverter and the resulting idle power loss when using compatible devices. Jackery says it can charge a Type-C fast-charging laptop around 3 to 4 times, smartphones up to 22 times, and drone batteries around 4 to 5 times.
The 300D also has three USB-C outputs, including support for up to 140W USB-C charging, which makes it particularly useful for newer laptops and other high-power USB-C devices.
Another practical detail is its 2-in-1 shoulder strap, which doubles as a heavy-duty 140W USB-C charging cable. That saves some space in a travel or content-creation kit. The trade-off is obvious: the 300D does not support AC output, so it isn’t intended for appliances that require a conventional wall-style AC connection.
A middle ground for home and work
The Explorer 500 V2 moves up to a 512Wh battery and 500W maximum AC output, while weighing around 5.7 kg. It is also 29% smaller than its predecessor.
For people working from home, its UPS functionality with a switchover time of under 10 milliseconds is one of the more useful features. When the grid goes down, the quick switchover is designed to help keep devices such as a laptop and Wi-Fi router running.
The fold-down handle also makes the 500 V2 easier to move around the house. Jackery says it can power a desk fan for up to 8.5 hours, while its capacity can also be used for devices such as a mini fridge. Actual runtime will depend on the power draw of the equipment being connected.
The 500 V2 uses a LiFePO4 battery rated for 6,000 cycles to 70% or more of its original capacity, according to Jackery’s specifications. It can also be charged from AC in around 1.3 hours under the specified conditions.
For bigger household loads
At the top of the new lineup is the Explorer 2000 V2, which is built for significantly higher power requirements. It packs a 2,042Wh LiFePO4 battery and a 2,200W rated AC output, with up to 4,400W surge power. The unit weighs around 17.9 kg. Jackery says it is 41% lighter and 34% smaller than standard 2kWh power stations.
This is the model that makes more sense for extended household backup. Jackery says it can continuously power a standard inverter refrigerator for up to 14 hours, a 1.0 HP inverter air conditioner for up to 3.5 hours, or multiple electric fans for up to 28 hours.
It can also handle appliances such as rice cookers and microwaves, although high-power appliances will naturally drain the battery much faster than phones, laptops, or fans.
The Explorer 2000 V2 uses an EV-grade LiFePO4 battery with a rated cycle life of 4,000 cycles to 70% or more capacity. It can also be fully charged from AC in around 2 hours under Jackery’s specified conditions.
Availability and Pricing
The new Jackery Explorer models are available through Jackery’s official online channels and partner stores in the Philippines. Based on the listed prices from the Jackery Philippines official store in Lazada, the current prices are:
Jackery Explorer 300D – ₱18,899
Jackery Explorer 500 V2 – ₱36,549
Jackery Explorer 2000 V2 – ₱115,929
Jackery Explorer 500 V2 – ₱36,549
Jackery Explorer 2000 V2 – ₱115,929
The listed prices can change depending on store promotions, vouchers, or other offers. Jackery also says the lineup is available through Shopee and Lazada, as well as the official Jackery kiosk at SM Fairview and other partner stores.
At these prices, the three models occupy very different positions. The 300D is the portable option for digital devices, the 500 V2 offers a more capable middle ground for home and work, while the 2000 V2 is aimed at users who need serious backup power for household appliances.
