The new HONOR Magic V6 has been named EISA Foldable Smartphone 2026-2027 by the Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA), recognizing its strong combination of flagship performance, long battery life, and improved durability.
The award also highlights how the HONOR Magic V6 addresses common challenges for foldable phones, particularly battery capacity and protection, with a large battery and IP68 and IP69 certifications.
EISA highlighted several of the Magic V6's specifications, including its 3nm Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, up to 16GB of RAM, and 120Hz AMOLED displays. The phone also packs a 6,660mAh Silicon-Carbon Battery with support for 80W wired and 66W wireless charging.

The EISA award comes at a time when HONOR is continuing to strengthen its position in Southeast Asia. According to Omdia's 2Q26 research, HONOR ranked No. 4 among smartphone brands in both the Philippines and Malaysia, putting the company among the top five smartphone vendors in both markets.
That performance is notable given the condition of the broader regional market. Smartphone shipments across Southeast Asia fell 23% year-on-year in 2Q26, reaching their lowest level since 2014.
HONOR's position suggests that its mid-range and premium smartphones continue to find buyers despite the tougher market. The Magic V6 sits toward the premium end of that lineup, combining a foldable form factor with flagship hardware, AI features, and stronger protection against everyday exposure to water and dust.
For users who rely on a foldable as an everyday phone, those practical improvements matter. A larger battery, fast charging, and improved durability can make the format easier to live with beyond simply having a bigger screen when the phone is unfolded.

The HONOR Magic V6 is available for pre-order from August 25 to September 4, 2026, priced at ₱119,999. It comes in Red, Gold, and White. Customers who pre-order at any HONOR Experience and Partner Store or online will receive a FREE HONOR Pad X8b worth ₱12,999 upon claiming their Magic V6 on September 5, 2026.
