ASUS has launched the latest Zenbook 14 in the Philippines, expanding its ultraportable laptop lineup. The new Zenbook 14 series focuses on portability, durability, AI-powered computing, and battery life. It also introduces new Ceraluminum finishes in Arctic Blue, Komodo Coral, and Zabriskie Beige.
Product Marketer for Workspace Gears Jash Bacani present the latest Zenbook 14 and ZenMouse MD202.
New Zenbook 14 focuses on durability and portability
The latest Zenbook 14 weighs as little as 1.1kg and features an all-metal chassis designed for users who regularly move between different workspaces. The new generation comes in three nature-inspired colors: Arctic Blue, Komodo Coral, and Zabriskie Beige.
Its lid uses ASUS' Ceraluminum material, which gives the laptop a ceramic-like finish while helping protect the surface from scratches, smudges, and everyday wear. ASUS also claims up to 33 hours of battery life, along with fast charging support. The included USB-C charger can also be used to power other compatible everyday devices.
Three processor platforms
The Zenbook 14 is available in three different processor platforms, giving buyers more options depending on their preferred ecosystem and workload.
- The Zenbook 14 UX3480AA is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 3 processor with a dedicated NPU capable of up to 50 TOPS.
- The Zenbook 14 UX3480KA features up to an AMD Ryzen AI 7 345 processor, also with a 50 TOPS NPU.
- The Zenbook 14 UX3480QA uses a Snapdragon X processor with a 45 TOPS NPU.
All three configurations are certified as Copilot+ PCs, with ASUS positioning the built-in NPUs for AI-assisted productivity, content creation, search, collaboration, and other AI-powered Windows features.
Improved cooling for sustained performance
ASUS has also revised the Zenbook 14's thermal system. The new design uses a larger fan and improved airflow to move heat away from the internal components more efficiently. The laptop also adds dust protection to help maintain consistent operation over time.
The system supports up to 35W TDP, which ASUS says is a 25% increase compared with the previous generation. For users running multiple applications or working with more demanding workloads, the additional thermal headroom should help the laptop maintain performance without sacrificing its slim form factor.
OLED display and full connectivity
The Zenbook 14 features an ASUS OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and up to an 89% screen-to-body ratio. Philippine configurations feature 14-inch WUXGA OLED displays, with touchscreen support available on selected models.
The taller 16:10 display provides additional vertical space for documents, websites, and productivity applications. For audio, the laptop has dual speakers enhanced with Dolby Atmos. ASUS has also fitted the Zenbook 14 with a larger smart-gesture touchpad and a backlit keyboard.
Connectivity includes USB-C, USB Type-A, HDMI, and an audio combo jack, giving users access to commonly used ports without needing to rely heavily on adapters.
ASUS ZenMouse MD202 also launched
Alongside the Zenbook 14, ASUS Philippines introduced the ZenMouse MD202, a wireless mouse designed to match the Zenbook series. The mouse features a Ceraluminum top cover and comes in Moher Gray and Scandinavian White.
It supports both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity and can connect with up to four devices. Its Track-on-Glass sensor is designed to provide accurate tracking across different surfaces. It has a rechargeable battery rated for up to seven months of use. ASUS also says one minute of USB-C fast charging can provide up to 16 hours of use. Through the MyASUS app, users can assign shortcuts and adjust tracking sensitivity between 800dpi and 4200dpi.
