What's in the box?
Just like any realme product, you get a yellow box for the Buds Air Neo. Inside are the earbuds with a case, a micro USB cable, and paper materials.

Design
Most Airpod-like TWS look alike, and the Buds Air Neo is no exception. The case/charging pod has a glossy look and feel. At the bottom is the micro-USB port for charging, and there's also a charging indicator LED on the front.

The earbuds have charging pins at the bottom of each earbud, a good stem length, and a shape just like AirPods. The earbuds feature an IPX4 rating, which means they are water-resistant, so they are ideal to use when doing a workout or outdoor biking.

Features
The realme Buds Air Neo is a true wireless earbud that features a 13mm large bass boost driver with intelligent touch control support. These earbuds use an R1 true wireless chip with a new generation of dual-channel transmission technology.

For connectivity, it has Bluetooth v5.0 with a super low latency mode for gaming. The Buds Air Neo connects instantly the moment the charging case is opened. When pairing for the first time, the phone will display a pairing request, and with a single tap, the pairing is complete. It also supports Google Assistant out of the box. Unfortunately, the Buds Air Neo does not support wireless charging on the case, and there is no environmental noise cancellation.

Audio performance
Connecting the Buds Air Neo is easy just open the case and Bluetooth on the smartphone, and it will be detected in seconds. It's also best to use the Realme Link app to be able to check the battery level of the buds and customize the touch controls.

The buds produce impressive audio quality, it's a good all-around TWS for gaming, watching Netflix, and YouTube, and listening to Spotify. The volume is good, it has a good dynamic range, mids with good bass power, but clear treble ranges. Voice quality is also great when using it to make voice calls. The touch controls work fine, and they are easy to use and customized using the app.

The buds are only 4.1g, and the in-ear fit comfortably. It's light and very comfortable to wear even for a long period, and since it's water-resistant, there's no need to worry about it getting wet.

Battery and Charging
The buds case is equipped with a 410mAh battery capacity and 43mAh for each earbud. The company claims that the earbuds can last for 17 hours of battery life with 3 hours of usage on a single charge.

During the actual test, the earbuds lasted for about 2 hours and 35 minutes, but since every time they are placed back in the case, they automatically get charged, there's no need to worry about them getting low on battery, just make sure the case always gets charged.
