Unboxing
Instead of the typical yellow box, the realme GT Master Edition comes in a huge sleek black design. The realme branding and the realme GT Master Edition inscriptions are printed in front. At the back are the main features of the device also printed in large text.
When you open the box, you will be greeted with the message "Hey, welcome to the realme family." inside is the realme GT Master Edition smartphone, a protective case made of opaque soft rubber with a silky texture, type-C cable, and the 65W fast charger. There are no earphones supplied, which is unfortunate given the device's flagship status.
Design and Built
One of the most striking features of the GT Master Edition is its metallic-looking nanolaminate coating, which gives the phone an almost metallic appearance. The Daybreak Blue color, which features PICASUS proprietary technology, completes the premium look of the GT Master Edition.

It is not a slim smartphone, but it's also not hefty, with a thickness of only 8.0mm and a weight of only 174g, making it both light and comfortable to use. It's also available in Voyager Grey color.
The vertically stacked camera systems feature a rather large bump in the back. This is due to the big camera sensors, which include a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. It's a good thing it includes a free case that protects the cameras from scratches and damage.
The power/lock button is located on the right side of the device, while the volume rocker is located on the left side. When pressed it provides a pleasing clicky feel, which is nice because it lets you know that it is functioning properly.
Additionally, there is a dual SIM card tray slot on the left side of the device that can hold two nano-SIM cards. There is no SD card port for adding additional storage, although it is also available in a 256GB storage configuration. The USB-C connector, headphone jack, microphone, and loudspeaker speaker are all located on the bottom of the device, with another microphone located on the top.

The screen refresh rate can be set to Auto, Standard (60Hz), or High (120Hz) Additionally, also there are other functions accessible via the settings menu.
Thanks to the 360Hz touch sampling rate, it responds quickly to touch and gestures, which is ideal for action-packed games like shooting or racing games. You can set the refresh rate either 120Hz, 60Hz, or auto select. To get the optimal mix of battery life and better user experience, it is recommended to choose the auto select option, since 120Hz drains the battery more quickly.
Performance
The GT Master Edition is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G processor, which is cooled by a vapor chamber technology paired with Adreno 642L GPU and our test device comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage.
The chipset is one of the primary distinctions between the realme GT and the Master Edition. The realme GT is equipped with a significantly more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
In terms of performance, this phone is blazing fast, apps launch in a flash, and multitasking is a breeze without any lag, and switching between apps is also quick which is impressive. Out of the box it runs on realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS. The IU is snappy, programs launch swiftly and animations are excellent.
The GT Master Edition achieved a score of 674,558 on the AnTuTu benchmark, ranking it 27th overall best smartphone. It scored on 3D Mark – 690 (Wild Life - Vulcan); 179 (Wild Life Extreme -- Vulcan).
Gesnhin Impact, as well as Pokémon UNITE, perform incredibly well on high graphics settings. While Call of Duty: Mobile's performance is excellent thanks to its 120Hz frame rate, the 360Hz touch sampling rate is a significant advantage during gameplay.
Thanks to its Vapor Chamber Cooling System, it stayed cool during our gaming test, video loop test, as well as intensive apps and charging processes.
Cameras
The GT master Edition sports triple-camera systems consisting of a 64-megapixel main sensor, with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro camera, with an f/2.4 aperture. Upfront there’s also a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 hole-punch selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture.
The camera app can capture images quickly with excellent autofocus, plenty of color and sharpness, and effective HDR processing to prevent details from being lost. The captured pictures have vibrant colors that can be enhanced with any photo editing software. Low-light shots also look good with plenty of details.
You can also take some reasonable-looking low-light shots with the Realme GT Master Edition, which isn't always a given with a mid-range phone. For video recording, both the front and rear cameras are capable of recording up to a 4K video resolution at 30 frames per second.

realme introduced a new Street Photography Mode, which offers DIS Snapshot, Instant Focus, and Quick Zoom capabilities, as well as an exclusive selection of street photography filters.
Battery life
The realme GT Master Edition features a 4,300mAh battery, which is somewhat less than the usually more than 5,000mAh battery seen in other realme models.
Despite this, it performs admirably - after a typical day of use, it retains at least 15% of its capacity by nightfall (but still it depends on how you use the phone). The GT Master Edition's battery life appears to be significantly better than usual.
Charging the battery using the provided 65W charger is impressive; in our tests, it charged the battery from 0% to 100% in just over 40 minutes. Unfortunately, it lacks wireless charging, which is a regular feature on most of the newest high-midrange smartphones. Even the new Cherry AQUA S10 Pro, which is a budget smartphone, supports wireless charging.
