Samsung is expanding One UI 9 to more Galaxy devices, bringing new Galaxy AI features, more customization options, and additional security and privacy tools. The feature intelligently reframes the footage, making it easier to capture a child’s performance, a friend dancing, or an action during a sporting event without manually adjusting the frame.

Samsung is also giving Now Brief more flexibility with new Generative and Editable Cards. Users can choose what appears in their daily summaries and create cards covering health, weather, and video.
For device support, Warranty and Care is now integrated into Settings. Users can check warranty coverage for connected mobile devices, run self-diagnostics, view repair estimates, manage Samsung Care+, and book a service appointment.

Galaxy AI also gets more context-aware features. Now Nudge can surface suggestions based on what users are doing. For example, when making plans through text, users can pull up reservation details or save a shared location without leaving the conversation.
Creative Studio can also suggest image-generation ideas based on upcoming events. For example, a birthday approaching on the calendar could prompt users to create a themed image or greeting.
Samsung is improving translation with Interpreter, which now gets a Thread View that lets users refer back to earlier translated exchanges. Conversation Mode also gets faster translation, while compatible Galaxy Buds can provide quicker playback.

Security and privacy are another focus of One UI 9. Security Brief brings alerts about malware, apps from unknown sources, and unnecessary permissions into Now Brief. Privacy Alerts use on-device AI to identify potential privacy risks, including unnecessary attempts to access permissions in the background.
Samsung is also expanding Scam Detection to additional countries and languages, bringing protection against potential scam calls to more Galaxy users in supported markets.
