Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max: Specs, Price, Features and XRING O3 Performance

Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max, a flagship tablet built around a large 13.3-inch display and the company’s new XRING O3 processor. It is designed for users who need more screen space and performance for productivity, multitasking, creative work, and entertainment.

Large 13.3-inch 3.4K display

The Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max features a 13.3-inch display with a 3408 × 2272 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The combination gives the tablet a sharp and smooth display that should work well for documents, editing, browsing, gaming, and other large-screen tasks.
Brightness reaches up to 1,000 nits, making the display easier to see in brighter environments. Xiaomi also includes a Professional Original Color mode and multi-screen color consistency for users who need more consistent and accurate color reproduction across devices.
The larger panel also gives users more room for multitasking, which is particularly useful when working with multiple applications at the same time.

XRING O3 brings flagship performance

The tablet is powered by Xiaomi’s XRING O3 processor, which uses a 10-core all-big-core CPU design alongside the new G2-Ultra NX GPU. Xiaomi says the Pad 9 Pro Max scores more than 5.61 million on AnTuTu. Compared with tablets using the previous XRING O1, Xiaomi claims the XRING O3 delivers a 54% improvement in CPU multi-core performance and an 85% improvement in GPU performance.
The performance boost is aimed at demanding workloads, while Xiaomi HyperOS adds multitasking and AI-powered features designed to make the large-screen experience more productive.

12,000mAh battery with 120W charging

Powering the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max is a 12,000mAh battery with support for 120W HyperCharge. The large battery is designed to provide extended usage for work, entertainment, and other demanding tasks, while the high-wattage charging support can reduce the time needed to recharge the tablet.
For calls and meetings, Xiaomi has equipped the tablet with a six-microphone array featuring high signal-to-noise ratio microphones. The setup is designed to improve voice pickup, including when the speaker is farther away from the tablet. The Pad 9 Pro Max also supports Wi-Fi 7 for faster and more stable wireless connectivity.

DP-in turns the tablet into more than just a tablet

Another notable feature is DP-in video input, which Xiaomi says is being introduced for the first time on its Pad lineup. Through a full-featured USB-C cable, the tablet can receive video input at up to 3.4K resolution and 120Hz. This opens up additional possibilities for gaming, work, and creative setups.
Instead of simply outputting content to another display, the Pad 9 Pro Max can also serve as a display for an external video source, giving the large tablet screen another practical use.
