DJI Osmo Pocket 4P with Dual Cameras
DJI has officially launched the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P in the Philippines, bringing a major upgrade to its pocket-sized camera lineup. The new model retains its compact design and built-in 3-axis mechanical gimbal while introducing a dual-camera system, enhanced AI tracking, faster charging, and expanded support for advanced video recording formats.

DJI Osmo Pocket 4P with Dual Cameras
Designed for vloggers, travelers, and content creators, the Osmo Pocket 4P aims to offer the flexibility of a dedicated camera without adding much weight to a bag or pocket. At just under 200 grams, it's still small enough to carry all day, making it an easy option for spontaneous shoots or travel content.

Dual Cameras Add More Flexibility
The biggest upgrade this year is the move to a dual-camera setup, giving users more options without switching lenses or carrying additional gear.

The primary camera features a 1-inch CMOS sensor paired with a 24mm equivalent lens and f/1.8 aperture. The larger sensor is expected to capture cleaner images in challenging lighting while offering improved dynamic range for both photos and videos.

Alongside it is a 1/1.3-inch CMOS telephoto camera with a 60mm equivalent lens and f/2.2 aperture. Instead of relying solely on digital zoom, users can switch to the telephoto lens for tighter framing, portrait shots, or subjects that are farther away while maintaining better image quality.

Both cameras are stabilized by DJI's signature 3-axis mechanical gimbal, which continues to be one of the strongest reasons many creators choose the Pocket series. Whether walking through busy streets or filming handheld while traveling, the stabilization helps keep footage steady without needing a separate gimbal.

4K Recording with More Room for Color Grading
For video recording, the Osmo Pocket 4P supports 4K recording at up to 60fps, while 4K slow-motion recording reaches up to 240fps for dramatic slow-motion sequences.

Creators who spend time editing their videos will appreciate the addition of 10-bit D-Log M and the newer 10-bit D-Log 2 color profiles. These formats preserve more color and highlight information, giving editors greater flexibility when correcting exposure or applying custom color grades.

DJI has also updated its Night Mode, leveraging the larger sensor to deliver cleaner footage in darker environments. This should be useful for evening city walks, indoor events, or low-light travel scenes where compact cameras often struggle.

AI Features Built for Content Creators
The camera now includes ActiveTrack 8.0, allowing it to recognize and follow faces or full-body subjects while keeping them centered in the frame. For solo creators, this makes filming without a dedicated camera operator much easier.

Another useful addition is Product Showcase Mode, which automatically shifts focus between the presenter and an object placed close to the camera. Anyone who records gadget reviews or product demonstrations will likely find this feature saves time compared to manually adjusting focus.

The 2-inch rotatable OLED touchscreen also makes switching between landscape and portrait recording quick with a simple flip, making it easier to create videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

DJI has also included Glamour Effects, giving users the option to apply subtle skin-smoothing directly from the camera without additional editing.

Longer Battery Life with Faster Charging
Battery performance has also received an upgrade. The Osmo Pocket 4P is rated for up to 210 minutes of continuous recording, depending on shooting settings.

When it's time to recharge, DJI says the battery can reach 80% in approximately 18 minutes using a compatible 65W PD charger, while a full charge takes around 32 minutes. For creators shooting throughout the day, that means spending less time waiting and more time recording.
